Queen Victoria’s contribution to Agile development

Peter Fowler (famed historian and Agile archivist) sent me this link.

It explains why the privy council in England have their meetings standing up – apparently Queen Victoria instituted the stand up approach back in 1861 to shorten her meetings.  So in case anyone tells you Agile development is a cool new idea, you now know that some of the processes have been around for a while.
